Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s much-awaited film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has been leaked online. The issue was brought to the filmmakers’ notice by choreographer Remo D’Souza. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha deals with the need of sanitization in the country and is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat campaign. The film has been co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey.

It was choreographer-director Remo D’Souza who brought the leak of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha to the notice of the makers. He told The Indian Express that he met someone who said he had the entire film on his pen drive. After verifying the same, he immediately notified the producers of the film.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha revolves around the issue of open defecation, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan forming an integral part of the narrative. The film is set to hit the theatres on August 11.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was leaked, and the full movie was available with a man in a pen drive. The pen drive was reportedly found in a gym, making it appear that Toilet: Ek Prem Katha might be made available online for free download even before its release.
