According to updates on morning shows of 28 May 2017, the film saw almost 50% occupancy in most places. That is a fairly good number as per Friday and Saturday.
The film has various reasons to do very well at the box office, the most important being it is on Sachin who is a God for Indians who celebrate cricket as a religion.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, it is an “impressive” opening for a film in this genre.

On Sunday being weekend and due to positive word of mouth, the movie witnessed decent growth in it’s footfalls and estimated to collect the amount of 10.20 crores to make it’s 3 days domestic total as 28 crores.
From overseas too, Sachin A Billion Dreams is getting a quite good response. The movie is positively expected to get god number of box office income on Monday and add a good business total to it’s account in the 4 days.
